We had the privilege of interviewing Joe Trotta, a patient from Weill Cornell Medicine. In the year 2003, Joe was diagnosed with IGA Myeloma. He sought treatment in Long Island but to no avail. He resolved to join the Weill Cornell Multiple Myeloma treatment program. He was given excellent treatment, but suffered complications after a stem transplant. Fortunately the Center had an excellent team with doctors hailing from multiple disciplines. They were able to quickly resolve any issues he had and to this day he still owes his continued health and life to the Multiple Myeloma Center.
